80th Anniversary of MD Anderson Cancer Center 2022

The 80th anniversary of MD Anderson Cancer Center was held Thursday March 24th, 2022, at the Toyota Center. The concert event was emceed by John Stamos and featured performances by Christopher Cross, The Beach Boys, The Commodores, Todd Rundgren and Generation Radio. Words of testimony for the great and caring work MD Anderson Cancer Center provides were made by grateful patient Jeffrey Foskett. Remarks were made by Dr. Peter Pisters and the event raised $10.7 million dollars. Ward & Ames began planning this milestone event 1/9/20, before the pandemic, and continued its management and production until fruition 3/24/22. Careful lead management by Tammy Davis and her Ward & Ames team enabled the massive project to come in under budget by 6 figures… just as we did for their 75th anniversary.
